I have been interning at Youinkit, a custom apparel company, since June 2020 and am currently the social media manager. I interned during the summer and worked to produce video, blogs and social media.
They challenged me to create content that was different, and got a clear message to the followers. We also wanted to create a sense of community, and build followers during the process. Since the beginning of my internship in June they have gained 50+ followers. I created graphics, wrote weekly blogs, did photography and created campaign strategies.
I started a new weekly blog where we showcase our customers and tell their business story on our blog as well as our social media platforms. I reach out to customers and collect photos and information in order to showcase them throughout the week. For more blogs click here.
One of my biggest accomplishments was when I worked closely with the CEO to develop, storyboard, and produce a short social media ad that advertised their custom face masks. The ad was published on all social media platforms and was aired on CNBC.
