Senior Convergence Project Leader: Summer/Spring 2020
After applying, I have been accepted as Project Leader for the Communications Capstone for the year of 2020-2021 at Cabrini University. Throughout the summer and senior year, the class will be researching the criminal justice system.
President of Society of Collegiate Journalists (SCJ): August 2020-Present
Work to provide leadership and direction to the organization. Created structure and oversaw the chapters officers and planned activities.

I won Honorable Mention for my Profile article, “Anna Russo: Overcoming adversity and becoming Cabrini’s 2019 valedictorian” for 2020 Student Keystone Press Awards Division II.
Two time Michelle Perna (’75) English and Communications Scholarship recipient: 2019/2020
This scholarship was established through the generosity of Michelle Perna (’75) and her husband, Dr. James Devine, in honor of Michelle’s mother, Marie G. Perna; her mentor, Elizabeth Grimmie Wisniewski (’66); and Communication Department Chair Dr. Jerry Zurek.
Broadcast Pioneer of Philadelphia Scholarship: 2019
The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia awarded five $1,500 scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students studying radio, TV and film production. Awards are given to college juniors and seniors who demonstrate academic excellence and professional potential.
This requires a GPA of 3.9 or higher for coursework completed at Cabrini University with a minimum of 12 credits of letter-graded course work.
The Cabrini University Honors Program is dedicated to honing students’ critical-thinking skills, developing creative and imaginative impulses, and pushing them to expand their intellectual horizons.
